Using "Automate" in Photoshop Helps Increase Workflow
One of the keys to being a good designer is working efficently and quickly. It is important to adapt to programs by learning and implementing shortcuts to increase workflow. Often when designing, the amount of images that needs to be touched up or resized in photoshop is high. By using the "Automate" function in Photoshop, you can choose a group of photos that need to be changed and apply an action to be done to all of them at once. This function is very useful when the same action is to be done to many photos. It reduces the monotony of changing each picture individually and increase the speed the process is accomplished. Follow these few easy steps to faster, more efficient workflow.
In this example, we will apply an automatic black and white setting and change the resolution to 72ppi. However, you can record and define any action you desire--applying auto settings for levels, resizing photos for web use, etc.
